- Advocating for improved roads, drainage systems, and city services to enhance residents’ quality of life.

- Working to revitalize aging commercial and residential areas to foster growth and opportunity.
3. Education & Workforce Development
- Partnering with schools and vocational programs to prepare DeSoto residents for high-demand careers in healthcare, technology, and advanced manufacturing.
4. Local Decision-Making & Community Engagement
- Encouraging transparency and accountability in city government.
- Ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in decisions that shape the city’s future.
Serving Our Community
Debrah worked with the city's development staff and her subdivision's HOA board to create a new gate access ordinance. She has collaborated with our local police department to identify solutions for public safety improvements and initiatives. She is also a Leadership Southwest and Leadership North Texas alumni member.
As a current City of Desoto Board member of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Building and Standards Commission Chair, Debrah has developed skills in Strategic Decision-Making, Collaborative Leadership, Civic & Regional Knowledge, Community Engagement, Problem-Solving & Innovation, Public Policy & Advocacy, Financial Stewardship & Resource Allocation, Crisis Management & Resilience, and Building Strong Partnerships
